St. John's Church  Built in 1741, St. John's Church was the site of Patrick Henry's famous speech "Give me liberty or give me death" in favor of independence given on March 23, 1775. Every Sunday at 2PM, there is an re-enactment of the Second Virginia Convention (Memorial Day thru Labor Day).
